DIVERSITY ESL Lesson Plan

Students discuss bio-diversity, cultural differences and different religions and bullying. This is a no prep English teaching resource about diversity in all its forms. Students get to learn about what makes each of us unique. After watching 'Don't put people in boxes', an interesting short film about an experiment concerning diversity, students get to talk about themselves and others and their understanding of what diversity means. Students get to practice dialogues, do gap fill exercises, learn useful expressions and learn new vocabulary about the topic. This resource can be used in a classroom environment as well as in online classes for people of all ages. This resource is colourful and interesting and a fun multi-culti quiz is also included! Students have the opportunity to talk about taboo subjects such as racism, sexism and sexual orientation. and of course, as always, the goal is to get students talking!
