PAST SIMPLE SPEAKING RESOURCE

Practice the Past Simple Tense in conversational English using dialogues, irregular verbs, phrasal verbs, idioms and expressions. Students get to discuss different topics concerning the past, such as 'the worst day ever', 'memories', 'the wedding' and 'holidays'. A fun memory game is also included. I use this resource in my online lessons with groups as well as individual students. They are perfect for pre-intermediate students and can also be adapted for a classroom environment using a white-board. I created this resource because I noticed that course books often lack interesting speaking prompts that give students the opportunity to put all those boring grammar rules into practice. My students love it and I can see a rapid improvement in overcoming shyness and improving self confidence when
expressing themselves!
